WHAT IS CTR
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared antimicrobial resistance
(AMR) is one of the top 10 global public health threats. In response to this, HKSAR has set up an Action Plan (2023 –
2027) to tackle AMR. This requires joint effort across different Government bureau/departments and
organizations, from process, people to technology.
Department of Health is therefore working
towards building a Computerised Transaction Record (CTR). This system aims to provide a convenient
platform for Licensed traders to input transaction records of antimicrobials.
